1. Using Foliopin

Foliopin lets you build and publish a portfolio website. You must be 18 or older and give accurate account details. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for what happens under your account.

2. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you add. You allow us to store, display and back it up only to run the service, including showing your portfolio publicly when you publish it. Don't add content that is unlawful, misleading, or that you don't have the right to share.

3. Plans and renewal

Free accounts renew for free each year. Premium is a yearly pass without automatic renewal. If an account isn't renewed, its portfolio goes offline after a grace period and the account may be deleted, as described in the Privacy Notice. [LEGAL REVIEW: refund and cancellation policy.]

4. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Your data & rights. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or the law.

5. Data protection

5.1 Our role. For your account data, Foliopin is the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). We process it only for the purposes in the Privacy Notice and on the basis of the consent you give, which you can withdraw at any time.

5.2 Other people's data on your portfolio. When you add personal data about other people (for example client names, photos of people, or testimonials), you decide what to publish. You confirm you have their permission and that the data is accurate, and you will remove it if they ask. Don't add sensitive details about others, such as health, financial or identity-document information.

5.3 Safeguards. We take reasonable security safeguards to prevent personal data breaches, including encryption in transit, access controls and limited staff access. Our processors are bound to protect the data and use it only on our instructions.

5.4 Breaches. If a personal data breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India without undue delay, as the DPDP Act and Rules require, with what happened, the likely consequences and the steps we are taking.

5.5 Your rights. You can access, correct and erase your data, withdraw consent, nominate a person, and raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer at privacy@foliopin.com, then with the Data Protection Board of India.

5.6 Deletion. When you delete your account, or when it is removed after it expires, we delete your personal data unless the law requires us to keep part of it (for example payment records).
